Limbs & Things presented with the Queen's Award for Enterprise Innovation
Limbs & Things, the UK's leading manufacturer of medical skills training products, and makers of the PROMPT Birthing Simulator, was presented with The Queen's Award for Enterprise Innovation by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant Mary Prior on Friday 4th October 2013.
Limbs & Things, known for its world class medical skills training simulators, which it designs and manufactures in its Bristol factory, has been recognised for its innovative contribution to skills training in medicine. The Queen's Award is the UK's highest accolade for business success.
Tim Draycott & his brother cycled the Colorado Trail and raised money for PROMPT
PROMPT Maternity Foundation trustee Tim Draycott and his brother cycled the Colorado Trail in August 2013 and raised funds for the PROMPT Maternity Foundation. This involved covering 500 miles of the Rocky Mountains in 10 days, high altitude, sub-zero temperatures, grizzly bears, a broken bike and a few interesting characters along the way.
