Fin & Tom's 1,133km Cycle Fundraiser

A HUGE Thank You to Finlay James and Tom Gullick who finished their journey cycling 1200km in 3 weeks across France, Switzerland and into Italy!! What an amazing achievement!!

Fin and Tom have started their epic cycle arriving in Calais on the 1^st of August. As with all great adventures, adversity is never far away. With only 40 miles completed a technical failure meant one of the bikes has had to be retired and a replacement found. Unlike the Tour de France there were no back up bikes on the roof of a support vehicle and a 15 miles walk was required to the nearest bike shop. We wish them better luck as they restart their epic journey to Italy via several mountain passes in the Alps.

PROMPT's story

As a result of the positive findings of the SaFE Study and also the associated outcome improvements at Southmead Hospital, the PROMPT (PRactical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) Train-The-Trainers package was developed by a dedicated group of health care professionals based in maternity units in the South West of England, UK. The package was designed to be used locally and to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.
