Debbie Sirett – PMF Business Support Manager

Debbie has worked in the National Health Service since 1995  working as assistant and practice manager in a large doctors’ practice in South Gloucestershire,  support manager for the Severn Postgraduate Medical Education Schools of Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology and Pathology, and for the last 5 years has worked for our charity.

The skills and knowledge she has acquired working with postgraduate medical education is particularly useful in her support role in PMF.

Louise Hawkins – PMF Programme Co-ordinator

Having worked in the NHS for over 16 years Louise has gained extensive knowledge of working in both the primary and secondary health care sector, in both clinical and academic research environments.  During that time Louise has worked as programme manager and clinical trials manager on charity funded studies and research administrator on several NIHR programme grants as well as commercial trials. She has been involved with study design and ensured all aspects of studies are safely delivered right through to study closure.  

In addition to her clinical research career, Louise also has an avid interest in environmental science. She spent time at the Sustainability Centre in Hampshire with subject expert Patrick Whitefield exploring permaculture design, food security, ecology and the environment. She also completed courses at the University of Bristol examining all aspects of horticulture and design, soil structure, plant biology and plant knowledge as well as exploring herbs for medicinal use. For leisure she enjoys gardening, cycling and fell walking with her husband and children.

Karly Hunter – PMF Administrator

Karly is a PMF Administrator working with the charity since January 2018. Karly has many years of PA, administration and project support experience.  She is also a trustee on the board of a Bristol perinatal mental health charity and has a keen interest in maternal health.

Joanne Sirett – PMF Administrator

Joanne has worked within the NHS since 2014, starting as an admin assistance, obstetric medical secretary and was then seconded to the PROMPT team as an administrator.
Joanne works closely with Karly to provide an excellent support to the clinical team to enable them to deliver the PROMPT training and undertake research.
