One of the most common questions that we receive, is asking about how the PROMPT system now works with the Annual Update packages  in comparison to the previous course in the box and Train the trainers/T3.

Our model previously was for a multi-professional team of four from a maternity unit to attend a T3 face-to-face. Once they had attended, they received their ‘course in a box’ to take back to their units and disseminate this to their teams.

Over the years this has now evolved, and in response to feedback and practical needs during the pandemic, we now have our Annual Update packages which include information to guide your teams through the physical and digital resources, so that you can deliver the training within your units, without the need to attend a T3 first.

The second Annual Update package (2022/23) includes our new PROMPT Implementation package (iPROMPT), which like a T3 from previous years, provides an opportunity to get your team together to familiarise yourselves with the resources and plan your training day. The bonus of this is that you can have as many of your team present as you would like and is available to re-visit or when you have new members join your team.

We also appreciate that due to many changes and restrictions over the last few years, you may have team members who may never have delivered training face to face. Using this iPROMPT and the resources within the Annual Update package should provide the information and tools to be able to do this.

You can find out more about the Annual Update packages (2021 and 2022/23) and how to purchase these for your unit in the links below:

If I buy the Annual Update, can I sell courses myself?

No, currently we sell the packages to maternity units/hospitals only, not individuals or private companies.

The licence to use the PROMPT training materials remains with the maternity unit/hospital who funded the package.

The ethos of PROMPT for staff to train within their own units, with their own teams also means that it cannot be sold as a private course.

What is the cost of the Annual Update 2021 or 2022/23?

Do I buy the Annual Update packages per trust or per unit?

The prices advertised are per obstetric-led unit, so if you have multiple units within your trust you would need to purchase the package for each unit.

Alongside or free-standing midwifery led units associated with the obstetric units, are not required to purchase this separately.

If you would like to discuss your Trusts individual requirements with us, please contact us at [email protected]
