The Pre-hospital PROMPT training package provides hands-on simulation training for paramedic and ambulance staff who are required to provide emergency maternity care in the pre-hospital setting.

The Trainer’s Guide is supported by downloadable training materials, including Power Point presentations, demonstration videos and specific treatment algorithms for use on your local training days and in the clinical setting.

All information is based on UK national guidance and recommendation including the national UK Ambulance Services Clinical Practice Guidelines (JRCALC Guidelines) and the UK Resuscitation Council Guidance (2021).

The PMF team launched a Southwest Pre-hospital PROMPT Training day in January 2017 where it was incredibly well received.
