The PROMPT team led by Dr Sharan Athwal and Cathy Winter and supported by Karly Hunter delivered the second virtual Pre Hospital PROMPT Training on Saturday 12 December which was attended by 30 paramedics and 3 LDO's from South Western Ambulance Service.

The all day event included:

• Maternal Assessment
• Haemorrhage during pregnancy (including early vaginal bleeding)
• Normal birth including lecture and inter-active video
• Newborn Resuscitation
• Maternal Collapse and Cardiac Arrest
• Pregnancy induced hypertension & Eclampsia
• Postpartum Haemorrhage
• Preterm Birth and Multiple Births
• Cord Prolapse
• Shoulder Dystocia and Vaginal Breech Birth

Each delegate received in advance a copy of the Pre-Hospital PROMPT Clinical Algorithm booklet to refer to during the virtual meeting.
