Launch of the NEW PROMPT Global obstetric emergencies training package

The PROMPT Maternity Foundation are pleased to announce the we have launched our NEW PROMPT Global training package, containing training resources incoporating the latest evidence and UK national guidance. The package also includes the new PROMPT Global Implementation (iPROMPT) programme.

The NEW PROMPT Global obstetric emergencies training package is intended for use by multi-professional training teams who would like to run PROMPT courses locally, in their own unit/institution.

The package includes:

• Facilitators Kit containing:

⎼ Supplementary Reading booklets with up-to-date information to supplement the PROMPT Course Manual (3rd edition)

⎼ 14 different obstetric emergency scenario handbooks with clinical algorithms, scenario guidance, equipment lists, drill briefing & de-briefing advice, and teamwork checklists

⎼ PowerPoint presentations for your local training teams to adapt and use in your own unit

⎼ PROMPT CiPP - Maternal Critical Care training package for updating your labour ward maternity teams

• Access to our Learning Management System (LMS) which provides digital resources and presentations for your team to download and adapt, to align with your local curriculum

• Access to our NEW PROMPT Implementation programme (iPROMPT) to guide your multi-professional

  training team in how to implement the PROMPT Global package authentically within your own unit.
