Debbie has worked in the National Health Service since 1995 and worked for 13 years in the roles of Assistant and Practice Manager in a large doctors’ practice in South Gloucestershire.

Latterly Debbie has spent 8 years as the Support Manager for the Severn Postgraduate Medical Education Schools of Obstetric & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology and Pathology.

The skills and knowledge she has acquired working with postgraduate medical education is particularly useful in her support role in PMF.

PROMPT's story

As a result of the positive findings of the SaFE Study and also the associated outcome improvements at Southmead Hospital, the PROMPT (PRactical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) Train-The-Trainers package was developed by a dedicated group of health care professionals based in maternity units in the South West of England, UK. The package was designed to be used locally and to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.

Pre-Hospital PROMPT

The Pre-hospital PROMPT package is designed specifically for ambulance trusts to be able to provide Pre-hospital PROMPT training updates locally for paramedics and ambulance staff.
