PROMPT in Chesterfield & Derby January 2019

The PROMPT team this week have delivered a 2 day PROMPT Train The Trainers (T3) at Derby Royal Hospital with teams from Burton and Chesterfield Royal Hospitals attending to help implement PROMPT authentically in their units with a ‘bespoke facilitated local PROMPT training planning session’. Judging from the responses so far received this session in particular allowed teams to plan together for their future local PROMPT courses.
The PROMPT Maternity Foundation look forward to further supporting these hospitals over the next few months in delivering their local PROMPT courses.

PROMPT's story

As a result of the positive findings of the SaFE Study and also the associated outcome improvements at Southmead Hospital, the PROMPT (PRactical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) Train-The-Trainers package was developed by a dedicated group of health care professionals based in maternity units in the South West of England, UK. The package was designed to be used locally and to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.
