Showcase events for UK teams 2025/26

Having run our first showcase event in Leeds in September, we're looking forward to our next event in London, now scheduled for early 2026 - date to be announced shortly.

These sessions are a great opportunity for hospital Trust teams to:

✅ Network with other maternity teams
✅ Receive direct support from the PROMPT core team
✅ Explore current and new resources to strengthen local multi-professional obstetric emergencies training

**For teams that have purchased the Annual Update 2024/25 training package, attendance for a team of up to 4 is complementary**

Our first event in Leeds in September was very successful with teams enjoying the day, and telling us what they enjoyed:

The practical sessions on how to run a drill particularly the actual practice/demonstration. Our group have a strong knowledge base of the booklets as we use them in practice but really valued seeing how the facilitator ran the session, and lead critical discussion and feedback.

Great opportunity to network and find out how other Trusts tun their mandated training, useful updates from knowledgeable and enthusiastic faculty.

The showcase was fantastic. Each session was super helpful and informative. How to make simulations realistic. Learning from others.

Very useful and a must for all prompt providers.

PROMPT's story

As a result of the positive findings of the SaFE Study and also the associated outcome improvements at Southmead Hospital, the PROMPT (PRactical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) Train-The-Trainers package was developed by a dedicated group of health care professionals based in maternity units in the South West of England, UK. The package was designed to be used locally and to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.
