PROMPT was commissioned by the Welsh Risk Pool to roll out PROMPT training to every maternity unit in Wales.
Training began in 2018 and has successfully been implemented across all maternity units, with excellent feedback.
PROMPT has been working with maternity units in Zimbabwe since 2012. In Mpilo Hospital in Bulawayo, PROMPT training led to a reduction in maternal mortality by 34%. Since then, working with the Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops Conference, another 56 maternity units have undergone training.
In 2015 Project Hope (PH) provided funding for PMF to work jointly with them to deliver the PROMPT Train The Trainers (T3) programme to health staff from eight selected maternity units in the Philippines with the aim of reducing postpartum haemorrhage through improvements in the quality of hospital-based maternal and child health service delivery.
