Professor Tim Draycott 💔 1964 – 2025

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our amazing founder, leader and most importantly of all, our precious friend. The world was so much brighter with him in it, and will not be the same again.

Tim was one of a kind. Totally unique, and such a clever, brilliant and generous man. His impact on maternity safety has had huge reach across the world and his legacy of 'making the right way, the easy way', will continue through the work of all the teams that knew and loved him.  He was a joy to be around, his humour and ability to make every person feel important, is a rare and distinctive quality that will be missed by all who ever met him.

We send our heartfelt condolences to all that loved and cared for him, and we want to reassure you all that together we will continue his legacy and impact on improving maternity care for mothers and babies across the world, as Tim would have wanted us to do.
