During COVID-19 there are some operational changes taking place at the PROMPT Maternity Foundation.

All PROMPT training projects have been paused due to COVID-19, as the PROMPT team have been released to support the NHS. However the team will continue to produce resources to help support maternity teams during the pandemic.

Clinicians

Tim Draycott, Neil Muchatuta, Sophie Renwick, Sharon Jordan have all returned to front-line clinical duties from 23 March until at least 30 June 2020 at either North Bristol NHS Trust or University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Trust. Jane Storey is also planning to return to clinical duties.

Cathy Winter has been seconded to North Bristol NHS Trust to provide training to staff returning to obstetric duties and updating of training materials in relation to COVID-19.

Tim and Cathy continue to contribute on a national scale to provide up-to-date national guidance.

Faculty

All clinicians are working on the front line in their NHS roles carrying out their clinical duties. Therefore they are currently not available for national PROMPT training.

Business Support/Administration

Debbie Sirett has been seconded to North Bristol NHS Trust to support management in their Bronze Command Control, whilst Karly Hunter and Jo Sirett are providing administration support to North Bristol NHS Trust.

Cathy, Debbie and Karly will still be available at PROMPT, albeit on reduced hours, so please do not hesitate to contact them via their email addresses for any queries you may have.

We will still continue to respond to your enquiries, although please be aware that we might take longer than usual to reply.
