PROMPT Wales

PROMPT was commissioned by the Welsh Risk Pool to roll out PROMPT training to every maternity unit in Wales. Training began in 2018 and has successfully been implemented across all maternity units, with excellent feedback. Read more

Zimbabwe

PROMPT has been working with maternity units in Zimbabwe since 2012. In Mpilo Hospital in Bulawayo, PROMPT training led to a reduction in maternal mortality by 34%. Since then, working with the Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops Conference, another 56 maternity units have undergone training. Read more

Philippines

In 2015 Project Hope (PH) provided funding for PMF to work jointly with them to deliver the PROMPT Train The Trainers (T3) programme to health staff from eight selected maternity units in the Philippines with the aim of reducing postpartum haemorrhage through improvements in the quality of hospital-based maternal and child health service delivery. PROMPT's story

As a result of the positive findings of the SaFE Study and also the associated outcome improvements at Southmead Hospital, the PROMPT (PRactical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) Train-The-Trainers package was developed by a dedicated group of health care professionals based in maternity units in the South West of England, UK. The package was designed to be used locally and to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.

Pre-Hospital PROMPT

The Pre-hospital PROMPT package is designed specifically for ambulance trusts to be able to provide Pre-hospital PROMPT training updates locally for paramedics and ambulance staff.
PROMPT 1st Annual Update (2021)

PROMPT's first Annual Update package (in this 3-year series) was launched in July 2021, making it even easier for your local teams to resume effective hands-on training. This is still available if your unit hasn’t purchased it yet.
