PROMPT Symposium 2024 Abstract Submission

PROMPT SYMPOSIUM ABSTRACT SUBMISSION NOW OPEN…….Deadline: Sunday 6th October 2024

This event will bring together members of the multi-professional maternity teams from around the world to inspire and share experiences to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes globally. It will provide an invaluable opportunity to exchange ideas and showcase your work.

Abstract submission is now OPEN and presentations should be based around the theme of “Sharing experiences and challenges of sustaining your local multi-professional maternity training programme". We welcome submissions from midwives, obstetricians, anaesthetists, paramedics and allied maternity staff involved in local, multi-professional training to improve outcomes for mothers and babies.

Abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words. Please click here to access the template to be used for submission.

Abstracts will be considered for oral or poster presentations and prizes will be awarded at the Symposium. Abstract main author should be registered for this event.

PROMPT's story

As a result of the positive findings of the SaFE Study and also the associated outcome improvements at Southmead Hospital, the PROMPT (PRactical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) Train-The-Trainers package was developed by a dedicated group of health care professionals based in maternity units in the South West of England, UK. The package was designed to be used locally and to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.
