Ireland

In 2010 the first Irish PROMPT Train The Trainers (T3) course was held in Dublin, for multi-professional teams from across Ireland. PROMPT training is now run in many units across Ireland.

In 2017 the PROMPT Team presented PROMPT 3, Train The Trainers (T3) Course in Belfast to teams from maternity units from across Ireland.

In March 2017 The Galway University College Hospital donated £941.73 from fundraising for the PROMPT Philippines project which supported the local implementation of local PROMPT training in seven maternity units in the Philippines.

2022

PROMPT delivered a virtual Train-the-Trainers programme for the 2021-22 Annual Update to several units from across Ireland.

PROMPT Global for international teams

The PROMPT Maternity Foundation are pleased to announce that we have launched the NEW PROMPT Global Training Package which includes the iPROMPT Global Implementation resources for international teams (outside of the UK and Ireland).
Scotland

The THISTLE Study and THISTLE Plus are two studies of PROMPT Multi-Professional Training implementation in maternity units in Scotland.
Romania

The Medias Municipal Hospital in Transylvania, Romania team attended the Multi-Professional T3 training in Bristol in 2018.
Germany

Hannover Medical School attended PROMPT T3 training in the UK and are successfully implementing local PROMPT training using manuals which have been translated into German by this dedicated team.

PROMPT's story

As a result of the positive findings of the SaFE Study and also the associated outcome improvements at Southmead Hospital, the PROMPT (PRactical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) Train-The-Trainers package was developed by a dedicated group of health care professionals based in maternity units in the South West of England, UK. The package was designed to be used locally and to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.
