Training Training packages PROMPT 3rd Annual Update (2024/25) We are really pleased to announce that the third and final instalment of our Annual Update series - Annual Update 2024/25, has been launched. This includes 5 new modules to add to the existing Annual Update training resources included within the Annual Update 2021 and Annual Update 2022/23 training packages: Twin Birth Mental Health Emergencies in Pregnancy Diabetes Emergencies in Pregnancy Uterine Inversion Preterm Birth As with both previous Annual Update training packages, the Annual Update 2024/25 includes: Supplementary reading booklet - 2024/25 edition This booklet is intended for attendees at local multi-professional training days, providing up-to-date information on recent national guidance and research findings. Additional information is also provided for each of the modules that is included within the Annual Update 2024/25. Each facilitator kit includes two printed copied of the booklet, and you also have access to a digital version to share with your attendees or if you would like to print additional copies for your staff attending your local training days. PROMPT Implementation Programme - iPROMPT This training resource was originally included with our Annual Update 2022/23 training package, but we know that often staff roles change, and so new faculty need training and familiarisation with the PROMPT training resources. So to ensure that this is available to support all Teams, we will now provided access to teams that have purchased any of our Annual Update training resources. C Powerpoint presentations - narrated and versions for local adaptation Presentations are included for each of the emergency modules for teams to adapt and localised as required. We also included versions of these narrated by the PROMPT core team. Scenario facilitation handbooks These are provided to guide trainers in how to run scenarios and workshops. We include two printed copies of each emergency module booklet within the faciltators kit, and also access to a digital version to share with your local faculty. NEW for 2025 - Equipment booklets Wherever possible, we recommend that facilitators run PROMPT training in the relevant clinical room, using the equipment that is used in their unit. This helps the teams being trained to know their emergency equipment and their respective locations. However, we recognise that there may be times when you are unable to run the training in your clinical rooms, and so by using photos of equipment, this can help bring some realism to your local drill sessions, wherever they are located.
